Do you have a dark skin? I mean dark or brown skin because I do have. I love having a brown skin. It highly identifies me of being a Filipina or an Asian beauty.
But the others can’t appreciate or love their brown skin. They’re influence by what they seen on the advertisement. So they have a tendency to buy whitening products whatever does it takes. There is nothing wrong about using those products but we need to choose a good one.
I was able to watch the lady featured in Global 3000. She’s from Thailand and likes to have a white skin. Her job is a singer in one of the bars there. She reasoned out that most of the customer likes white complexion women. So she tried to use whitening product but the cheaper one. She just bought in the side-walk market. She put it on her face, neck and arms…
Are you interested with the result? Imagine the next picture would be a face, neck and arms of a woman…
The result is horrifying. It cost her to lose her job, ashamed to others. She just takes courage to face in the camera of that show.
I have a message to my so-called fellow complexion ladies… Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It has no boundaries whether we are white, brown and black. If the person itself can’t appreciate her beauty, then who will appreciate it? Me, them… it’s a big NO! You must see the beauty innate of yourself. Establish your self-esteem, beliefs and standards. Face the world believing that you are the most beautiful creature.

BisdakPlanet Foundation aims to help our less fortunate “kababayans” and is dedicated to helping the Filipino children.
All of us were once innocent little creatures. Reminiscing the past, our childhood years always bring smile and gladness in our hearts. We have played all sorts of games to our hearts’ content, free from worries and doubts of the future. School had been both our learning institution and playground.
It is therefore a privilege to become part of this endeavor in making these children, these Filipino children, experience the warmth of childhood we once enjoyed by bringing to them some gifts we could share.
Be involved. Let’s take pleasure in making their journey to school a happy one.
Join us as we embrace the child in us - free spirited and full of joy by sharing and helping.

I don't have dark skin, pinaglihi kse ako sa hard boiled egg tsaka peaches. LOL Kidding aside, it's sad that some people especially women want to change the color of their skin. What happened to that lady is scary! They should just stick to using Likas Papaya. LOL It really works because my childhood friend and her sister used to have dark skin, now their skin is lighter, close to my color actually.
Like the previous post. =)
I have a fair complexion. Not as white as those from the foreigners, but a rosy fair one.
I don't want to sound boastful, but I pretty much flaunt my complexion. I always get the admiration of some people (probably because of the media promotion that whiter skin is better).
However, I also get tired of my complexion. Have you noticed those black ones? To a makeup designer it is always a challenge to make black people beautiful. Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez are typical examples of women who are really beautiful in their skin color.
I like your skin dear like Jessica Alba's complexion. You know naman I have this fair skin, ay ewan fair ba to. People here mostly think I'm chinese like Anya said before dear naalala mo?
People here loves to tan their skin. White is not in. The tanner, the beautiful. Gumagamit pa sila ng kung anu2x, bilad sa araw just to get tan you know that. About using products na nabibili sa tabi2x sus katangahan talaga yun porket mura. Kung may datung dun ka sa mahal at kilala pero kung wala ay agree ako kay Babette stick to likas papaya soap diba?
That's the result for people with no contentment.

Filipina skin is beautiful and trying to tamper with it brings disastrous results. I have light brown skin & I am proud of it. I strive to make them look healthy from inside out. I dislike whitening products since they do more harm than good. Those Filipinas striving to have white skin not only have low self-esteem, they try to be someone else they cannot be. I believe being natural is in itself the essence of true beauty. Mabuhay!
i totally agree with you. You frist have to love yourself before you can love anybody else or have them love you. I think filpino women are very beautiful.
Well said everyone...
Mama there is really such thing as "lihi" ha. LOL They don't know our LIKAS papaya because she lives in Thailand. Hehehe
Gem: That is point there, anyone should flaunt their complexion. No matter what the color is.
Dear even here in the Phil. a lot of Pinay's are still searching for a new cheaper whitening product. We are very lucky because we have our so-called Likas Papaya.
Rolly: I would like to send a message in every women specially with dark complexion to be contented.
Mia: Thanks for the comment. We are only few who loves our skin. A lot of them are being influenced by the concepts of the advertisement.
Bill: Thank you... we are indeed beautiful! Hahaha
