What Does It Take To Have a White Skin?

I am not against of this product. I think there is something wrong with the concept of this advertisement. Emphasizing those black or brown complexion women can’t be hired because of their complexion.

Eventually, I have a follow-up post for this issue. Anyway, I would like to hear your opinion about this post. Not just with the dark complexion women but same thing with the white complexion.

I think this concept goes for most commercials worldwide. In the Philippines alone you can identify those whitening products that say whiter skin is better.

Fortunately... maputi ako ... hahaha!

Cheers!

Good for you Gem that you have a whiter skin.

I think its totally unfair... Hehehe its all because we have that kind of skin.

Iba talaga dyan sa atin, some people still think that being fair skinned is better. They need to be happy with who they are and not what they look like. I'm just stating my opinion, of course. :) You will never see that kind of commercial here in the US.

i agree. i, too, think something's wrong with this ad. why emphasize that you'll succeed more if you have whiter skin???

That is exactly what this ad is saying. White will get you where you want to go. I don't like it one bit. Have a great day. :)

White, black or tan it should be fair especially in finding jobs. What a white complexion can do if the mind is dumb?

commercials are sometimes bias.
some people are not contented of what they have and of their looks. funny coz white skinned people likes getting a tan and dark skinned people likes to be white..hehehe..
good thing i got white skin..

@Sandee- Thanks for sharing your comment to us.

Dear that's a good point!

@Twinks it means some people are not contented of what they have.

I think a person looks healthy with color to their skin. If you look real white it makes you look pale or sickly. I dont understand why people would want to bleach their skin. Be proud of who you are.

tsk. i dont have a fair skin and i get criticized sometimes and there was a time that i did try some whitening products. but eventually, i stopped using them because it's not all worth it. i have learned to appreciate my skin color. i take pride that some people still find me pretty even if i dont have a fair skin. and those kinds of commercials really do not bother me at all anymore. i pity others who still get affected and end up buying those useless products..
