Constipation is when the time that the person can’t excrete his own body waste. It would take sometime to discharge and usually they are having hard time with it. A few months ago I’ve experienced this dilemma. I’m quite bothered at that time because that is not my usual body clock. What I did? I listened to my body and did what is needed to be done. If you’re experiencing this, I prepared a checklist as a guide. Try to check the following:
- Make sure that you are drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water. It moistened the feces to excrete easily.
- Eat a lot of food that contains fiber like green leafy vegetable, fruits, oatmeal, etc. A fiber serves as a broomstick in our intestine.
- If you are too busy in the morning try to relax and have some breakfast especially before 7am because our body clock for the large intestine is within that hour.
- Breakfast must compose of the choices of following variety of food: milk, oatmeal, fruits, cereals, natural fruit juices, rice meal with egg.
If you are constipated then you must pay attention with it. It may cause or lead to some health problems later on. Like on the following below:
- you get easily irritated with your daily situation even in simple things
- when you excrete there are times that it contains blood or there would a tendency to have a hemorrhoid
- on the latter years it could lead to colon cancer, especially when it is alternating with diarrhea
BisdakPlanet Foundation aims to help our less fortunate “kababayans” and is dedicated to helping the Filipino children.
All of us were once innocent little creatures. Reminiscing the past, our childhood years always bring smile and gladness in our hearts. We have played all sorts of games to our hearts’ content, free from worries and doubts of the future. School had been both our learning institution and playground.
It is therefore a privilege to become part of this endeavor in making these children, these Filipino children, experience the warmth of childhood we once enjoyed by bringing to them some gifts we could share.
Be involved. Let’s take pleasure in making their journey to school a happy one.
Join us as we embrace the child in us - free spirited and full of joy by sharing and helping.
