One for the feet and the other is for the body. Ate Che and I tried it. Choose the body part that is more stress. How would you know that it is stressed? My favorite areas of the house are bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Bedroom needs to be clean all the time. Having soft linens and lighting effects. Try not to eat on this part of the house so that it will not attract pest at all. Why kitchen? For a simple reason, I love preparing food on my loved ones. I clean it often to avoid mess of crumbs for cockroaches and mice. I like kitchen gadgets, good stoves and oven. Most of my time is on this part of the house. I always wanted to prepare good food. It was tiring but yet fulfilling. I do believe that we are what we eat so as much as possible I personally do this. Next to kitchen is bathroom. When we went to home depot bathroom design are one of my favorite to look forward to. Looking at the price I just thought it is just for display. I told myself never mind for now, who knows for the next ten years. Aside from depot’s I also scan www.betterbathrooms.com they always have great deals. From bathroom enclosures, accessories, heated towel rails, tiles, furniture, mirrors, etc. Looking those latest bathroom designs motivates me more to work hard. I am always dream on that one day I’ll have all of it.

It’s been two months ago and I would like to be thankful to my dearest best friend through posting this. Thanks dear for giving me this gift. From Australia she bothers to send me a gift through with her friend Thess. When I got SMS from Thess I thought it was a scam because I was not expecting any package from anyone. In short I ignored her message and texted me again indicating the name of Joy. Ah okay this message is really mine. We met at SM Megamall and amazed on what’s inside of the package.

It contains a bracelet, perfume, hand scrub,cleanser and moisturizing lotion.
My friend bothers to take care of my working hands. I know I have been using it a lot and I’m not applying anything on it. And because of her gift reminds me that I need to moisturize my hand to make it look beautiful. I tried to maintain of not so long and square nails. I prefer to look my bare nails to see if it’s clean. Once in a blue moon I applied nail polish on it. Most of the time I was the one who manicure my hands rather that a manicurists. Luckily I have soft hands that callous did not exist on our genes.

I have a question for all of you, is it nice going to Divisoria now a day? If you are not an entrepreneur please avoid this market. It has a lot of mob and you would feel of not coming back to that place again. You will experience human traffic, bad odors and you need more patience to go to your next destination. If you will only buy a small volume I recommend that you buy to your nearest market to avoid also snatchers on this area. We went there today and we don’t have a choice but to continue to the next place. One of the problems that we encounter is human traffic and mud. We can’t walk thoroughly because there are rain showers in the area. Aside from mob there are a lot of vendors everywhere in the place so instead of walking freely they are occupying the sidewalks for people. Again if will not buy by the volume don’t go there just out of curiosity. Find some nearest store that you can also avail of almost the same price at Divisoria Market.

MP stands for Manny Paquiao the pride of all Filipino’s today. He was able to won against the Tornado. Margarito Antonio doesn’t know that he’s fighting the Tsunami of Asia. Manny really mastered the skill of boxing. He is tremendously good at it and gets better each new fight that he has. I also salute Tornado he didn’t give up and stayed standing up to 12th rounds. I pity on him because if you look at the damaged on his eyes. MP is trying to send signal on the referee to initiate of stopping the fight because Margarito had terrible injury. I know that MP doesn’t like to punch him anymore but since this a fight he continued as the games needs to be played well.

Again MP won the eight (8) titles in a row of his boxing career and he doesn’t want to retire yet.

There are some friends that don’t reciprocate about you felt about them. On my side it takes years before I respond their feelings towards me. Right now I am on the process of healing that I need to neglect some people that I love before. This not happen for once well in fact it is a series of betrayal and back stubbing. 3 categories which stand to people who mold my life…

First my family: Parents who raised me in this world and gave me a beautiful and unique name. My parent contributes a lot with my character right now. I don’t like others stepped down on me that is why I have a very strong character. My grandparents they are the one who saved us when my mom undergone a nervous breakdown. We stayed with them for 6 years since I was at grade two up to first year high school. They financed my college days. I know they are very frustrated on me because I wasn’t able to practice my profession as a teacher. I know in my heart that I have a different purpose in life and hoping that it will be understood by my family. My Auntie Nene, I stayed with her for 7 years. I saw her colorful life. I saw her kids grown up and it made me responsible to things that I want to do.

Second my friends: Transferring from one place to another made me a great friendship. That is one of the reasons that I made a lot of best friends. I treasure friend that sits beside me when I’m in trouble and happy on every achievements that I made. Here are the list; Elna, Ruby, Joy, Yanna and June. Thank you for loving me, staying beside me during typhoons and being happy on what I achieved.

Third my partner: we’ve been together for eight long years. It may not be on legal papers but I don’t regret on my decision of having him. I love you baby!

Last week when June 25, 2010 is coming I am very excited to hear PNoy’s 1st SONA. Thank God that I was at home that time because as what you know it is not holiday. I listen attentively to what he is going to reveal on Filipinos. As an ordinary citizen hearing it live I felt his sincerity where he only wants our country lead to magnificent one. On the other way around it is the first time that I felt that I need to participate. I need to be an effective citizen through abiding the law. It is loud and clear that our president can’t do it alone. Were he stated that he needs all of us to make things happen. I know that I am not practicing my profession as a teacher but instead I choose to be in the business industry. I was thinking lately how I could help him. He said that we need to help our brothers to become effective: educate, look for a job and be able to save some money. Well on that part I am trying to help not so young men to be able to pass on their exam so that they could get a college degree.

I know that some critics had endless negative words about him. Lets all unite please instead of criticism tell him your brilliant ideas that can contribute on making this country move forward. A negative person has lot to say about their fellows. There are like crocodiles waiting others to make mistake so that they could eat them. When there opponents are dead then that’s the time to rule again. I think PNoy have the best advisors because we are here on his side. Remember the last inauguration he told us that “we are the boss”. So let your suggestion and reminders be heard by our president. Let’s stop patronizing the things that is against the law. If there are no demands there are no supplies at all. I know there is a lot of patriotic heart out there. The boss sees to it that his employee is working well.

Weight Loss

Last year I noticed that I gained weight from 130 lbs. to 145 lbs. I was quite bothered about it because the first part of my body that protrudes more is my lower extremities. From my hips going down so if you saw me on pictures that my face and arms are big so means that I am huge. Hahaha!!! My pants and shorts do not fit with me anymore. I am annoyed if I was walking and my two legs are bumping on each other. One of the main cause is I ate too much sweets. Specially last December 2009 it’s been almost a day of that month that I ordered coke float or hot fudge sundae. No wonder why I gained weight, right? But there is always a turning point that I wanted to stop and lose my weight. I tried to do workout at morning. I noticed that I was hunger compare to the days that I don’t exercise at all. So I stopped it and thought of another solution. Last month June 2010 due to constant changed of weather. I was sick of that time and when it happened I can easily lose weight. So after that I changed my eating habit. I ate more during breakfast, lesser on lunch time and eat before 6pm. This is the time that I lose weight because I can already wear my old jeans. At this point in time I feel so light.

Typhoon Basyang

Yesterday the Philippines were visited of typhoon Basyang. It had a strong wind and heavy rainfall at night. This typhoon still manageable because the street is not that flooded unlike the other typhoon in the past. But what amazes me after passing of so many years living here in the metro. This is the first time that we experienced a very long hours of none electricity. Were everything is run by it so everyone is annoyed about it. Aside from electricity we don’t have also cable, internet and cell sites. How is that? This was okay if we lived at the province, right? Realizing about the past typhoon it made me reminisce the past. Way back that we still lived at the province, which we don’t wonder anymore the effect of the typhoon because it is bound to happen. You’ll not expect electricity and anything after the typhoon. Just lived a slow pace and move on what ever the damage that had been done by the typhoon. Unlike here in the metro a lot of people are complaints on everything. All hotlines are really hot because most of us are calling (why we don’t have this and that). I’m one of them you know. I tried to call Meralco but it is busy of course. Hahaha I was envy to my neighbors that they had already electricity last night and us are so poor because we don’t have it. I understand that they did there best, a lot of electricity post was down during the typhoon. Thank God we passed on this second typhoon on our country.

Time flies really fast my baby was already grown up (“not literally you know”). We attended Hector’s wedding a while ago. As you can see her on picture she’s becoming a lady. We’ve been together for about eight 8 years and I was quite amazed on her beauty. All my hope and pray for her that she will age gracefully. Not just by her physical appearance but all the aspects of her life. Alan and I loved her so much that to the point that she’s been treated like a daughter. Hahaha but that is true… She’s first among the others. We’re hurt if she’ll get hurt. Take care baby…

For the past few weeks here in Manila, we noticed that Soft Drinks or Soda Company had been problems on their stocks. They can’t supply a small store and sometimes you can’t see even a single bottle on their ref. On my side I’m quite happy because I don’t like to drink that stuff. For all we know that this drinks can cause diabetes because it contains large amount of sugar. Usually an 8 oz. bottle of soft drinks needs a gallon of water to be able to eliminate the sugar in our body. I’m sad to those who love to drink the so called “soft drinks or sodas”. Anyway let’s go back to my main topic. One day my regular customer told me that a leading soft drinks company had been found out that they are using magic sugar on their products. I asked her the reliability of what she had told me. She said that she had a cousin who’s working at Pampanga branch and he delivered the news them. Thanks to the concern people who had able to spread the news. Surprisingly, it was not aired on national television. The culprits are hiding this to us and using their power over BFAD. Isn’t alarming? I tried to call my friends but I think it’s not enough. You will know what are the soft drinks involve in this because they are the most sought after in the market. They are very well known for their television commercials. Do you have a hint? It is still a secret… because BFAD can’t announce it. So do I… but please be cautious. Here are some advices of our health secretary; … “Health Secretary Esperanza Cabral had earlier cautioned the public against the use of magic sugar allegedly being smuggled into the country.
She described magic sugar as an artificial sugar also called sodium cyclamate that could cause dizziness, vomiting and stomach ache.
“It is banned in the United States because of some studies that show that it increases the incidence of cancer, such as urinary bladder cancer,” she said.”

Viva, the people of the Philippines have been spoken. My other friends said that his to soft to be a president of our country. But as what I’ve shown and read in the newspaper that’s not what I saw to Sen. Noynoy. I think his a man that honours his words and promises to his countrymen. Thank God that you have given us this man that will fight against corruption. Corruption that causes our country that has full of debts. It tempts our government employees to grab money and put it on their own pockets. I am very sad that they are used to do this thing. I hope this thing will end up through the power that vested to our upcoming president. Good luck to our new President, my prayers are with you. On this day it is our election day. I hope this would be done nicely. This is the time where we choose our new president. I am going to vote Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and Manuel “Mar” Roxas. I know Noynoy was brought up by late Pres. Cory with dignity and honour. He will not do a thing that will loose his and his family’s dignity. One of his propaganda is to eliminate and fight against corrupt politician and government employees. Count me in Pres. Noy I will not practise that kind of activity. I hope all Filipino’s will help him because if in case it happens… Philippines will become a rich country. Vote wisely fellowmen we only do this once every six years. If we aren’t vote the right one, our countries debt will explodes billion times again. I hope and pray that every Filipino’s could make this automated election. Let’s trust and believe Noynoy!

Happy Mother's Day to all! It’s been an honour if my mother would still here beside me. I could embrace, kiss and tell how much I love her. But you know what? I can feel her even closer right now. I can see her in my dreams every time I miss her. I may not see her physically but I know she’s there at my side. How lucky those children given enough time to be with their parents. Please don’t hesitate to become closer to your parents. Time is gold! You might wake up one day they were all gone and too late to say I’m sorry mother for my shortcomings, I love you so much , I miss you’re kisses every morning, I miss your dishes that you prepare and I miss you’re reminders how to be a good person. Sometimes reminders are even called nags by the children. They don’t understand that is for their betterment later on.

Thanks for asking, the answer is no. Thank God that I was not a victim of typhoon neither by Ondoy nor Pepeng. I’m just busy for my clothing lines. I would like to dedicate myself at least a year for my business. To be able to master and plays this game really well. For next year it would be easier as I think of. Currently I am posting pictures of blouses and dresses that I sell. It’s not actually the clothes that I sell but confidence. It’s not the look and amount of what we are wearing but the confidence that we have that we could carry each clothes. I think next time I would post my store. On my last update, I told you that I’m going to post on what happen on my first time bazaar. I called it as sweet and sour experience. I really learned on this event. I know I lost a lot of money on this game. I just thought that it is just my tuition fee to gain knowledge about my business. This was also a sweet experience because we met a lot of friends. From organizers to fellow concessionaires, is such a priceless gains that we had on this bazaar. If I will be given an opportunity I would still join on their bazaar next time. It is simply because I know how to play the game on this place. Next time I will give tips on how and why to join on a bazaar. The only message for now: dare to gamble and don’t be afraid to lose the game…

Corinthian Bazaar '09

I really thought that I could post on my blog often but things get complicated since I was invited to be part of their bazaar. As you all know I don’t have an extravagant shop to flaunt. In fact my stall was one in the corner of the market at Manila. I don’t have a huge capital to have a stall on the mall. That is why I’m hands on in this business. I consider myself that I am working as an employee that I need to this well. If I could only see you how I started on this business. Anyway, one day I have two viewers on my store sometime last October. They told me why you don’t join in a bazaar? I replied them that I can’t do that as of now because simply I don’t have the capacity in terms of capital. They told me that my items are really good and fashionable. Huh! Thank you so much for the compliment. We end up on our conversation in asking their numbers. If ever I could join since that time it was quite far. To get this story short I wake up one morning that I’ll be joining on this bazaar. It will be on November 27 to 29 at Corinthian Garden Ortigas. On Friday up to Sunday from 10am to 7pm. We are located on hall 2 at letter “S” stall. Is that lettering really mine? Hehehe I am inviting you guys to stroll and buy something of course. Let me know if you’re a blogger and I’ll give you a discount. Seriously I will give you a discount. This is my first time to attend this kind of affair that I am not a customer. See you there. Today we are celebrating all soul’s day. We went to my mother and brother’s haven. We visited them together with my close friends.
We bought some flowers to be arranged by my brother Gerard. Well I guess on my part his a professional florist. I salute you big brother!
I know in my mind that our mother is very happy. She likes flowers and big candles. But you know what once in a while I can help myself to miss her. I was missing our talks together over the phone. I got three blogs as of now. This is the only baby that I kept updated simply because I can’t manage many blogs right now. I was lucky that this blog has been hosted through the help of my dear Joy. If only I have all the means for webhosting of my other blogs certainly I would love to that. But how can I do that I could not even update it? If you look at my side bar my last entry in my Filipino blog was three months ago and the other one was five months ago. Huh! That’s not terrific, right? I know someday that I will learn to manage my time. Having business and at the same time blog all the issues that kindle my hilarious thoughts. I miss a lot of issues since my mom died. That is one of the reasons why my food blog was updated five months ago. On my Filipino blog when I got started my business. I know I can’t have it all but I am still hoping for multi-tasking. My plans did not fall into proper places but I know that there are some reasons why it was not given to me. It was sad but I was got over it.

31st Birthday

Wohooo! Today is my 31st birthday. I’m still pinching my cheeks to wake up that I am getting younger today. Hahaha… Thanks to all of my friends who remembered and greeted me today. My plans for now are to make my business successful. I don’t have plans to become an employee anymore. Some relatives are saying that I should practice my profession. Well I can still practice it someday. I’ll just take my plans one at a time. All I need is your support guys. Well I think they’re not reading this. Hehehe

It’s not only my friends that I want to thank for. I would like to thank God for giving me my life. To be alive on my 31st birthday and on upcoming days which are giving me chances to correct my life? I hope my decisions are according to His will. Huh that is heavy… can I be a human for a lifetime? Just kidding...

Seriously, God I hope things fall into proper places. I know how you loved me as your daughter. You made my cross light like cotton. You made my ugly life beautiful. You made my poor life rich… I’m constantly praying of serenity, wisdom and understanding. Let Your spirit lives on my heart...

Signal Problem

Every time I went home I usually watch my favorite shows at night. One of the basic problems is the network signal. I was thinking if it is good to have a Directv Programming or a satellite tv what do you think? As I read a few information of having a good signal. I found out that satellite tv is really awesome to have because there will be no barriers of shows across the globe. I will not be stuck on my so called favorite shows just because I don’t have a choice. But I can watch live shows from different continents. Well let’s see if I can have that, maybe soon. Hehehe

Getting Nearer

One day my brother and I are heading home we have this fantastic conversation. He told me that he wanted to increase his skills and study welding. I told him that he must study first of driving a car. Hahaha Yes! A car that has a mercedes supercharger and he ask me back, why? I replied, because if my business works out then I will need a driver and I will hire him. That is just one of my wildest imaginations. Who knows it will come true. Dreaming of something is one of the free things here on earth. If I am extremely near then that’s the time the money will come out.

It’s been a while since I was not blogging. I focused much attention on my business for the past 2 months. I miss a lot of friends here. Ever since I wrote about the birthday of my dearest Joy, I never thought of visiting the web. I was too exhausted at the end of each day. My daily routine was I woke up at 5am and fixed up myself after that I went to the store. I usually closed it at 7pm. That is why I was really exhausted. Wait a minute during Sunday I just open it only for half day. But for the past weeks I had been busy with my schedule.

For the first month I tried to get a helper but it didn’t work that well. She’s just diligent on the first week of working on me. I noticed that every time she’s on the store I don’t have either sales or it’s minimal. Huh! That is why she’s out of the picture. I was planning after her to get a new one. But a new angel and friend which is her name is Milcha told me that, if you don’t have peace of mind then don’t get a helper. So I decided to shoulder all the errands of this business. From purchasing the goods, marketing and selling it to the people. So far it turned out so well.

Some of the friends are helping to sell the products in their area. I guess it’s time to thank them. I would like to say thank you to June, Lora and Bam. Somehow you guys fulfill my goal to be a wholesaler. Honestly, my goal is to be a wholesaler. That some of the retailers would buy bulky products on me. Hahaha I hope it will come true.

Anyway I am hoping to be consistent on my blogging life. I miss a lot of my reactions on certain issues in this world. I am finding means to buy a new laptop so that I could blog while doing my business. I hope all of my friends are doing so well and great.

My Skin

In doing my business I am a bit worried about my skin. I am more exposed to sun rays. I don’t have time to shop in department store and don’t have enough time to blog. I realize that it is convenient to shop via internet.

I found the site that offers a wide variety of health and beauty products that can pamper my skin. Hmmmm why not? I need those cosmetics to have a vibrant and moisturize skin. In marketing my products it is best if I take good care of my skin.

For the past few months I am very busy with my new baby which is my business. It started of selling panties with my family and friends. Unconsciously, from under wear of women it files up with different goods like shirts, shorts, brief, etc. As you had read before I was playing “Feeding Frenzy”, starting this business are alike of this game (eating small fishes to become a big fish). Well today I am a small scale businesswoman but I’m praying that I’ll become a big fish someday. Because I need to achieve my Goal 2015, right? So I need to work really hard to save some money as Sandy said in her comment.

As we go further I would like to acknowledge my avid droppers that even I can’t bounce back they still bother to drop on my card. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. No words can’t describe how overwhelm I am because of non-failing drops on each month. Let’s try to take a look on their number of drops.

Goal 2015

Sam’s dream on 2015 is to tour in Europe. When I go there I’m going to visit from one country to another by taking train. I love to discover and get the specialty of those countries. And try to remember the things that we don’t do as a Filipino. I am planning to stop and get a hostels London. I like to see the beauty of that country. Sometimes if I were being asked where have you been? Often times I answered that I’ve been to London to visit the queen. Hahaha kidding aside I know in mind that to travel in those countries are very expensive. Can you just imagine that today 1 euro is equivalent to 68 pesos? If I will be staying in one of the hostels their, I can’t imagine how much will I spend. That is why I need to get ready by then. One of my weaknesses is food in good restaurants because I like to taste the different twist of their menu which is done by their chef. I will not just stick in Italian or French cuisines but I will taste too the food of indian restaurant london. As far as I know Indian cuisines is also different among other cuisines. They use a lot of different ingredients or flavors in their dishes. Huh! Wake up Sam you’ve been dreaming too much. There is nothing wrong about dreaming of your goals, right? I’m wandering that I can get my goals someday. So that by now I will be thinking of some strategy on how to achieve it. I hope that my business will work out so soon. I love to pursue this dream and no one can stop me. This is free today and when it happens that is the time that it will be expensive. Angel Locsin is the leading actress for the upcoming drama series at night here in the Philippines which is “Only You”. She has two leading men Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo. The original comes from Korea and it made a hit during that time. And now a Filipino version got a remake of this. It will be aired on April 27, 2009 in exchange of Betty La Fea’s slot. Last night I was able to saw her while they shoot this teleserye in our area. This is directed by Rory B. Quinto.

Synopsis of Only You from Wikipedia:

Jillian (Angel Locsin) is a very stubborn and proud girl who has a passion for cooking. Because she does not have an interest in studying, she runs away to Italy before she graduates from high school to enroll in cooking school. Her high school friend, who loves her dearly and shares her passion for cooking, comes along with her.

TJ (Sam Milby) is from a wealthy family who owns a large hotel and various restaurants. He travels to Korea in search of his mother that abandoned his family when he was young and there he runs into Jillian. How do you beautify your houses? Of course you want it to be beautiful as possible. Do not have enough budgets? All you need is the word “simplicity” but as much as possible try to work on your budget in a way that you are also satisfied. Or else you’ll just end up frustrated and disappointed if that happens. Try to maintain the floor by cleaning, scrubbing and waxing it. Sorry if I’m always gone in blogosphere for so many reasons. I know some of my friends miss me. Huh! It’s really tough now a day our computer is infested by virus and hasn’t reformatted yet. But my USB had been already clear. Next, I was in charged in the kitchen for my mother’s 40-days which I am praying that she went to heaven. It was the same day that we celebrated my father’s birthday. Happy birthday Dad!!! I hope and pray that you’re going to move on in due time about what happen to mom. We love you despite of… opps family matters.

After that our computer is not yet cleansed so I got busy with playing of “Hangaroo” and “Feeding Frenzy”. Of all of those silences I ‘m currently managing a business of my own which is selling of RTW. To start up a business is like a baby that needed much attention. I’m actually happy of the result that even it is the time of world financial crisis. I can say that it is good to have some business. That as you always sees in the construction site “business as usual”. Aside from selling goods that are really cheap. I’m looking and interested in some paintings. Last January 2008 I started to create my free blog through the encouragement of my dear Joy. But I was not active for six months. Through her consistent guidance I was able to make what have this blog owns right now. I would like to thank Joy for always guiding and patiently understand my shortcomings. She loves me unconditionally and sometimes I couldn’t reciprocate it. This is one of her multiple blogs... Honestly it’s hard for me to express my thoughts in writing. I don’t like the whole world to know about my life. Without knowing, that this world will help me a lot in so many ways. Through writing it’s easy to express my emotion. The words that I can’t express in speaking to other people and the deepest message of my heart are being expressed here. In doing this I met true and indeed sincere friend across the country, from USA, Germany, and other countries. On my last birthday maybe she looked for a web site hosting and bought one for me. Thanks dear I don’t really had an idea before how this work. You know what I never entered a chat room. Before when I went to computer shops I know that the girl beside me is in the chat rooms and chat to anyone else. So I had an idea how it looks like. Sssshhh she never knew that I’m eyeing on her screen (that’s a secret). I heard that some people met there boyfriends and husband through that one. Well I think that is good sides that happen to them. But I heard in some expose that some guy or gals are trying to be friendly but they belong to a syndicate. When they gain your trust and meet you on person they will robbed you. You must be careful in dealing with the strangers. For this coming Lenten season I think Free Catholic Chat would definitely enjoyed by the Catholics especially those who are lost in track with God and with themselves. On my part I think it is good for me because I always concentrate on my friends in chatting. It’s not fun to talk anything to the people that I don’t know at all. But in any rules there is an exception. It is great to talk with strangers when you are carrying a burden or a problem.

Does it Cost too Much?

If you know when are you going to die, would you prefer to be cremated or have an interment? For me I prefer for an interment because scientifically speaking it will help to our mother earth. Which am I will undergo to the cycle of nature unlike if I am cremated. Well that is not the main topic that I am going to share with you. I have the thoughts of sharing this, how much does it cost when we’re dead? Eventually we don’t know about this one but our loved ones are the one will shoulder. But it doesn’t matter to the one who are left in this earth because we wanted to have a descent place for them. As I am writing this I don’t really know the real cost of all the services that we avail. So what I do, I call Nacional Memorial Homes and pretend to inquire for their packages. Huh! I am really shock and I would like to thank Tito Jun for the discount that we are able to avail. This is the package that we avail for my mom.

68,000 pesos package inclusive of the following...
-retrieval of the body
-embalming
-steel casket
-registration
-hearse
-3-5 days chapel viewing but with complete facilities like the room is air-condition, refrigerator, one family room

the lowest package that they have is 35,000 and the only difference is wooden casket and chapel. My mom is not qualified for the lowest package because she’s too big for the casket. If you like to inquire at Nacional Memorial Homes call (02) 713-5231 to 35

I asked the in-charge, what if we’re not going to use your chapel for the viewing. He told me that it would be the same price. Huh! It is very important that you know someone who’s working at the funeral homes so that they will help you to lessen the price.

How about in memorial park? I would like to thank my mom because we do have a lot at Loyola Memorial Park. But if we don’t have, it will cost us the least is 85,000 pesos (this is an old lot selling by the owner). I also inquire at Loyola how much the lot cost right now. We can avail for new lots for the total of 105,000 pesos and it could be staggered payment. Just inquire for them (02) 9413196.

Since we do have a lot at Loyola, what did we pay for them? We pay for them the interment fee which cost 24,000 pesos inclusive of 2 tents, 20 chairs plus 900 pesos for the chapel viewing. The cost of the headstone varies from one thousand to four thousand five hundred pesos. I’ll not total all of the expenses just imagine it on your head.

One morning my co-teacher saw my blouse and she told me that she likes it. I told her that it would not fit to her because she’s quite bigger than me. But still she insists that it would fit to her. So what we do we went to the restroom and took off my blouse and she tried it on. Hahaha it doesn’t really fit her. I told her that I will try to look over the internet. Post Death Activities

I am back but I still have some errands to do. My mother is a member of Social Security System here in the Philippines. Right now I am claiming for the burial benefit because my father wouldn’t like to do this. For the first timer who’ll be attending this concern, it’s quite confusing. Where SSS branch that we’ll go to? My mother’s funeral home is located at Quezon City which is Nacional Memorial Homes and the interment at the Loyola Memorial Park Marikina. Currently I am residing here in Manila. The other day I went to SSS Antipolo thinking that I would be claiming to that branch but I was wrong. The branch that I supposed to go to is where my address covered with this SSS branch which is SSS España. So I went there yesterday and the in-charge said that I need to wait for two weeks to follow-up because they need to conduct investigation. I couldn’t tell this woman that I needed the money so badly because we still have a balance at funeral homes. The money that I’m going to get in this benefit would go straight to Nacional Memorial Homes. Tsk tsk tsk I’m still holding on the message of our dear God that He will find a way. But I’m not going either lay down in my bed or sit in my couch to catch what we need right now. I’m writing this to help others who are confused in claiming this benefit.

Here are the SSS requirements for funeral benefit:

1. Death Certificate registered with the Local Civil Registrar. (The municipality where our loved one died)
2. Official Receipt from the funeral parlor or contract signed by the parties concerned if not yet buried.
3. Filer’s Affidavit to be accomplished by the person actually filing the claims.
4. 1x1 I.D. picture of the filer.
5. New Residence Certificate and any of the following documents: Birth Certificate (for single claimant) Marriage Contract, Driver’s License, Voter’s I.D., PRC ID, TIN ID, Employers ID or any valid ID.
6. Letter of explanation from the person whose name appears in the Official Receipt as to why such claimant is claiming the funeral benefit.

But wait there’s more… (Selling products) Aside from these requirements she wanted me to bring the SSS ID of my mom, their marriage contract and waiver signed by my dad. Although I can provide this requirements but how come that item no. 6 is stated. Why it was not stated these three requirements above? The official receipt is under my name and I am also the claimant. She told me that this is only one day process if this is within the area. Since it’s not there area that is why it would take a little bit longer.

Here’s another instruction written in the paper…

To expedite settlement please file your claim at the regional district office which has the jurisdiction over the place of death of the member.

The place of death of my mom is at Tanay where the regional district is SSS Antipolo. But they will not accept me to claim in that district because I am living in Manila. Huh! SSS I think you need to revise your requirements, please state it clearly and concisely.

To all of my friends I am officially backed in our world. I’m on the process of moving on to the next chapter of my life. I would like to say thank you to all of you who stopped by and leave comforting comments on my post. You have seen my last post it is already published before I sign off last week. Yesterday was the interment of my mom and I don’t know if someone took a picture of it. I would like to thank all my relatives and friends who attended. Personally they shared our grievances. And to those who sent their prayers especially for the soul of my mother, a billion thanks to you!!! I know my mom is happier than us right now. Deep in my heart I am very happy for her. Looking at her cadaver, she’s just like sleeping. I know she’s going up in heaven. Mommy you live in my heart. Thanks so much for all the love, thoughts and sweetness that you have done for our family. Regards to my youngest brother Janin whose in heaven too...

I Will Always Be With You

I didn’t hear her last message for me but I know that she will tell me as the title of this post. Hearing this music makes me cry, I know I need to be happy that her agony was over. I hate goodbyes even if my friend or somebody is leaving to another place. I don’t cry in public places if I am in grief I go to my room and cry out all my pains. I’m not a showy person of my weaknesses. Others are deceived of my personality but my friends know who I am. That behind those walls there is a loving and sweet lady. One of the reasons why I’m like this it’s all because my mom is so kind. When somebody puts her down she will not react or speak at all. If my mom made a mistake in the past then so be it maybe it doesn’t made her as her life is over but it made me so much.

In Memory of My Mother

I once posted before that my mom is sick due to kidney failure. I even seek for your prayers for her. Last night the news sent through SMS that my mom died at pass 8pm. I don’t know what to feel because I know her pain in all aspect of her life so to speak. As her eldest since 4 years old I saw her in pain that it made her become weaker day by day. Even when I was a little girl I taught myself to let go of the things that I can’t have. I strongly believe that we are only temporary in this earth. Instead I grief of losing someone I must be happy because she’s done with her life here on earth. But even though I believe that I can’t help my tears to fall down.

Her memories will remain on me… Some of my posts are telling my reader to love her own self. It’s all because my mom didn’t do that. She was too busy of loving my dad and her children that she forgotten to love herself. From now on she’s in peace with the hands of God. She has nothing to worry about the family, the house bills, her medicines, etc. No one will blame of her mistakes in the past.

I’m going to miss you mommy… your kisses and hugs. Your sweetness will be passing on to the next generation.

Summer

Summer is approaching now here in the Philippines. In fact the month of March is very prone to fire. That is why we need to be extra careful. This coming April I think the weather here in the Metro will hit 34 -37 degrees Celsius. It’s really hot but nothing can beat the weather in Arizona, they are experiencing 80 degrees. That is the reason why they put up the Arizona relocation services to be able to help their constituent while they are experiencing this situation. I can’t imagine if that happens here in Manila. It would really very hard for us to cope up in that kind of weather. But you know what if I have lots of money I will buy a property at White Mountain Vacation Club in Arizona because I think it is serene and relaxing on my stress life.

Weight Loss Center is what I need right now and it so happen that I saw this numbers 1-800-GET-SLIM. I’m gaining weight since last December. I can’t control my appetite maybe it’s all because of my hormones. Huhuhu I don’t like ending up as an obese and can’t go back to my normal weight. I usually have a 125 lbs and that is the regular weight of a lady who has the height of 5’5”. Anyway as I dig this concern of mine, I encountered the word lap band and it sounds unfamiliar. It really tickles my curiosity to search the meaning of Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Band commonly known as lap band. But I didn’t know about that. This procedure is commonly used by obese people where they undergo surgery to create their stomach pouch smaller, which has a tendency not too eat too much. From now on I’ll just have a balance diet. Two Birds

Since I posted about Calcium, before I’m lacking of it because every time I stand up often times I heard my bones. It is an indication that I lack of that mineral. That is why I’m drinking two glasses of milk and eat more cheeses too. There was a time that every day I exposed myself to sunlight to activate my Vitamin D. I’m too scared to drink it as a food supplement because I got some concerns with my lower extremities. Not good enough because that is an indication that I have a circulatory problem. And too much of this mineral is also bad for our health.

Anyway let’s jump to another topic. Are you familiar about vpn abbreviation? Tsk too sad for me as I drop my engineering course before, I lost track with all the technical word. Calcium belongs to the category of macro minerals. To be sure that is properly absorbed, there needs to be a sufficient amount of Vitamin D in our body. There is more calcium in our body than any other minerals. The required dosage increases with age:

I would like to tell you a story why I don’t like to read when I was a child. I always saw my mother reading novels. Not just a thin one but thick and she just finish it for 2 to 3 days. Often times she complained about her eyes that she needs eyeglasses because of her reading habits. That is the reason why I avoided the hobby of reading instead I divert myself to love Math and Science. I didn’t know that I would regret of not doing it. Right now I’m drooling myself to read in any reading materials to increase my vocabulary. But sometimes I felt headache that I think I need eyeglasses too. I tried to search this in the web and I read the article of New York Times about Zenni Optical. It actually caught my attention because they have the lowest price of eyeglasses. Considering that there shipping rate is just $4.95 per order. I already bookmark there page so that if I decided to buy one I would love to get one from them. This is the eyeglasses that I chose if ever and the color would be burgundy. Hahaha Of course I still consider my style in fashion even if I’m wearing it.

Do you rent or own house were you live right now? Either yes or no your answer it doesn’t matter. To live in that house for a quite sometime little by little you will get used of so many errands around the house. You were able to learn to love your neighbors, get used to nearby accessible establishments, etc. After a few years of staying there suddenly the owner of the house told you that he needs the house. In short you need to move out and find another place. Your heart doesn’t like to but you are opting to do so.

I went through of that kind of situation last year. In this kind of concern at first you’re like a pebble thrown in the ocean. Constipation is when the time that the person can’t excrete his own body waste. It would take sometime to discharge and usually they are having hard time with it. A few months ago I’ve experienced this dilemma. I’m quite bothered at that time because that is not my usual body clock. What I did? I listened to my body and did what is needed to be done. If you’re experiencing this, I prepared a checklist as a guide. Try to check the following:

Make sure that you are drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water. It moistened the feces to excrete easily.

Eat a lot of food that contains fiber like green leafy vegetable, fruits, oatmeal, etc. A fiber serves as a broomstick in our intestine.

If you are too busy in the morning try to relax and have some breakfast especially before 7am because our body clock for the large intestine is within that hour.

Breakfast must compose of the choices of following variety of food: milk, oatmeal, fruits, cereals, natural fruit juices, rice meal with egg.

By the way, how many times do you excrete your body waste in one day? Just too mind you if our digestive system is clean and free with toxins, our body has the capacity to excrete waste immediately. It usually happens after 12 hours after eaten your meal. Like the babies they have a clean digestive system, try to observe them they usually excrete on time and it doesn’t have a foul smell. But now a day it would be better to excrete once a day than none at all. It’s all because of the food that we eat and our daily activities.

If you are constipated then you must pay attention with it. It may cause or lead to some health problems later on. Like on the following below:

In the Hospital

I already experienced a near death situation. That is why I appreciate more my life today. When I was in the hospital I almost felt that I was in heaven because I can see some patients that were being arrest. It means that the patient is dying and the staff of the hospital had tried to revive the patient with all their strength but still the patient died. I also thought that time that I was not here on earth and died together with those people. Anyway good thing is I am still alive, kicking and making friends in the blogosphere. I remembered when the physician told me that I will be wearing a catheter because I will undergo an operation that time. Catheters at first are kind a little bit odd to wear on. There was even a time that my urine slip on but I managed to get used to it. It really helps a lot because I don’t even mind to go to the comfort room just to pee. After the operation I was able to recuperate in a short period of time. That is why they removed my catheter but it helps me to recover immediately.

Calmness is Power

I was about to go home and often I take the train. It’s rush hour so there are plenty of people. I used to get in area of women. To avoid any circumstances with men better yet to be on my area. I don’t know why some woman likes to block the door way even if there is a large space on the middle part. Anyway my friend and I manage to get in. I was carrying my beads box and it’s quite heavy. The girl in front of me gets off the train on the next station so I was lucky to get a seat. My hips are quite broad so the girl beside me said “ouch, this is only a seat of three” My co-teacher is staring at her and she told me if I could understand bisaya (dialect of Filipino’s who lived in Visayas region) As much as possible I wanted to be calm at that point in time. I read the message to her that calmness is power… maybe the girl had a problem with constipation. Maybe that is the reason why she had angst to us. I’d rather stay calm and have peace on my mind.
