Dubai is known to be a very happening city. While it offers lots of entertainment venues for adults, there’s plenty here that even children can enjoy. It is for reasons such as this that the Emirate has become so popular amongst travelers and holiday makers.
There are countless things that you can do with your kids in Dubai. From water parks to beaches and theme parks, it’s all there. However, before hitting the beach, make sure that you choose an apt day and time considering that temperatures can get rather intense during the day. With that, here is a look into a few activities that you can try out with your kids when visiting Dubai:
- Have fun at the Sega Republic
A bi-level indoor amusement city, the Sega Republic is building within the Dubai Mall. Believe it or not, but you can literally spend your entire day here. There are countless attractions here meant for both kids and adults. These include thrill ride, arcade games, motion stimulators and virtual experiences etc.
The theme city has an outrageously sized indoor playground that is looked after by volunteers. If you want to compete in a head to head car simulator, you can easily leave your children at the playground as it is a highly protected area. Other adrenaline boosters there that are worthy of being mentioned include a free fall tower, a small roller coaster ride, race simulators and mechanical tornado.
- Chill out at Ski Dubai
This is one of the biggest snow parks in the world, and you must visit it if you wish to keep your kids away from the scorching heat in Dubai. The best part is that a visit to Ski Dubai will refresh you as well. There are live penguins, 5 ski runs, bobsledding, chairlifts and a toboggan run as well for you to have fun on and with. The best part is that the artificial snow is generated by means of snow guns and is guaranteed to be free of chemicals.
- Visit Kidzania
If your child holds an interest in role playing, then you should definitely take him or her to Kidzania during your visit to Dubai. Here, your child will get the opportunity to dress up and mimic different professionals. The roles that they can mimic include those of a pilot, firefighter, doctor, chef, mechanic, cashier and banker etc.
